With her keen fashion sense, sharp tone, and her incredible height (for a lalafell), Ringaround Posy commands attention, even without the knowlege she's the warrior of light. Born to a poor family in a Lalafellin village just beyond the southern seas, Ringaround arrived at the docks of Limsa Lominsa seeking closure over the death of her grandmother. Even after, she continues to travel Eorzea and beyond as a scion, savior of Ishgard, and whatever other title people place upon her, much to her own dismay.

PERSONALITY Ringaround may seem a bit haughty to strangers, but she really just knows what she’s about. She is incredibly bull-headed, deciding on a goal not giving up until it’s reached. This tends to backfire though, such as several incidents involving her disappearing into the Gold Saucer for days at a time to rack up enough MGP to obtain a coveted prize. She will not hesitate to speak her mind but generally knows when to hold her tongue (with some exceptions), and encourages the people she loves to stand up for themselves. Despite this all, Ringaround’s upbringing and her career as a seamstress being what pulled her family out of poverty have made her mortified of failure. To her, failure equals back to rationing food for the week. Ringaround also doesn’t deal with the image that comes with the warrior of light very well, feeling as if she has to “take on” the persona of the WoL and the responsibilities that come with it, and suppress her own emotions during dire straits.

While Ringaround comes off as stereotypically hoity-toity and vain to strangers, those who see her as a friend know her as the doting and hardworking—if incredibly insecure—person she truly is.

BACKSTORY
Ringaround grew up in poverty, her mother Atishoo a stern carptenter and her father Knickknack a failed retired mercenary turned cobbler. Her parents' spending their days trying to make ends meet, Ringaround spent most of her childhood with her grandmother, Pocketsfyll. Her grandmother taught her how to sew, and as a teenager Ringaround used her lifetime of sewing knowelege to begin her career as a seamstress. Becoming a bit of a local celebrity for her quality work and fancy patterns, Ringaround helped pull her family into stable living

However, disaster struck some 5 years ago. An adventurer even in her old age, Pocketsfyll set her sights for Eorzea, only to never return. Everyone knew danger had caught up to her, and most distressing to Ringaround was how it became harder and harder to visualize her grandmother's face each day. It felt as if her grandmother had died twice, and Ringaround had lost a piece of herself. She lost her creative "spark," working only to support her family. Her creative rut only fueled her fear of failure, and her drive to work grow weaker and weaker. Finally, Ringaround had saved up enough money to leave to her parents, ensuring they would live comfortable lives for some years as she packed her bags and boarded a ship to Eorzea. Wishing to find the story of what happened to her grandmother, and maybe that a change of scenery so connected to her could help Ringaround finally find her creativity once again
